‘The Causeway’

415 years after Bushmills whiskey was born, The Causeway - a new £37m sister distillery - was about to launch. Aided by a massive investment from parent company Proximo, the supporting creative needed to impress investors from all over the globe.

A new manifesto, script and language were created to help the new brand find its place in the Bushmills family. The launch was “great craic and a huge success”.

Restless Progress

The brief was to create a manifesto & film that conveyed the majesty and poetry of the local area and its history. As well as the fact that - as the world’s oldest licenced distillery - this was the next step in a restless thirst for progress.

Spreading the Message

The language created in the manifesto wasn’t just the basis for the hero film. It was also used in digital, for social and if you ever visit The Causeway, you’ll even find some of it written across the walls as part of the visitor experience.
